Leadhom Density Non Slip Stairs Injured

The deeper and wider steps make it hard to shake and slide. Their dog steps cover is made of a material that has more elasticity than other fabrics, which means that your pet will not slip on the stairs. Ensure the safety of pets is the focus of the design. 👤The steps are covered with a cloth that can be removed for cleaning. I have an English Cocker Spaniel. These steps are easy for him to use. It took him a couple of weeks to get used to them. They are easy to pick up and move, but they are not suitable for large dogs. I would use them for dogs up to 50 pounds. I would look elsewhere for heavier dogs.

👤These seem to be the winner after returning multiple steps and ramps. Give them a few hours to get used to it, but they are sturdy, have good traction to paws, and aren't too steep. 30 pound Frenchy for reference.

👤I got it today and used it tonight. It needed to expand. I put the cover on after setting it out. My dog is hesitant about new things. I had to convince him to use it. He will love it once he gets used to it. He used to be able to jump up on the couch, but now that he's a little older he uses his Jedi mind skills to tell me to lift him onto the couch which isn't very convenient when I'm doing other things and he leaves the couch for a quick drink The foam is strong. I can remove the cover to wash it.

👤Our dog uses it well. He jumps into a chair and we might get another one.

👤It was packaged well. I let it inflate overnight after opening it. I put the cover on when it was full. My dog loves it. He has a way to get up and down on the couch without me lifting him. The cover is soft. I was very happy with my purchase.

👤A sad day. Little Perdido hesitated before jumping off the bed. He's getting older and jumping off the bed is no longer painless for him. The arthritis is old. The doggy steps are perfect. The shebang is covered in foam rubber with a soft cloth and no assembly is required. It took Perdido a day to catch on. It's very light, and I can remove it from the side of the bed with one hand, and it's back in place with a flick of my wrist. It matches my bed perfectly. This is a great thing for my small bedroom. Perdido is happy again.

👤A 10 year old dog has a hurt front leg and is overweight. He can't jump from the couch anymore. He refused to use the stairs. He seems to be more confident using this slope. It was very well made. It was worth the extra money to keep him mobile.

👤The stairs we bought for our dog had good reviews. I don't think this is a good idea for older dogs or dogs who have trouble with stairs. The stairs are made of foam. My dog slides down when she tries to walk up, like she sees on cartoons, a few months later. I was hoping the anti slip grip would be more sturdy, but it is not. buyer beware

👤I am very pleased with the bed I ordered. This bed is perfect for my lab, which is 100 lbs. He really likes using the pillow and there is room to spare. The bed and pillow are thick. The bed is very nice looking in Stone Gray. My dog moves the bed around the house. It is very light. I love it.

👤The bed is very good for the price. So far my 120 lbs. have stood up to regular use. The dogs fit together well, and it doesn't get in the way of their weight. The Boxer's snores are resounding in approval as I write this review. If my two start sleeping apart more often, I will definitely buy a second one, but they prefer to sleep together and the jumbo size bed is big enough for them to share.

👤Wow! Red is a 115 pound golden retriever. I can tell he hurts because he's been having trouble walking. It's just old. He stepped on it when I took it out of the package and put it on the floor. He was asleep after turning three times. So good. He stood up this morning and didn't have to rise or fall. I haven't seen him stretch in a long time. He walked down the stairs without help and went to help our dog, White, chase the rodents. He was interested in more than sleeping on the front porch. We had it for a day. A day makes a difference.

👤The product is not like the pictures shown. The side bolsters are not straight. It is made with cheap fabrics and bolster stuffing that feels like newspaper. Will be back soon.

👤My husband and I bought this bed for our dog. He is an older dog who is dying and needs an extra cozy bed as he is very thin and needs the support. He wagged his tail and walked over to the bed. He hopped on the train. It's rare for him to sleep hours before moving. Our doberman was very comfortable in the bed. The color and style were great. It's perfect for when he wants to rest his head because of the pillow lip. He loves it and we love it. 3

👤I got this for my 8 year old greyhound mix who is starting to wake up with pain in his joints in the mornings. It worked for all of the 5 nights. The foam in the corner collapsed in the middle of the night, giving less than half an inch of padding to the floor. I was hoping that the density would hold out longer than it did, even with constant pressure in one location, due to the fact that she curls up exclusively in that corner and the rest of the bed has retained its shape.

👤I almost didn't purchase this for fear that I'd end up with an egg crate bed, but I ordered theDeluxeChaise and it's definitely thick memory foam and cooling gel foam. I have a dog who likes to lie on cold tile and immediately took to the bed. I have a 50lb Australian Shepherd who likes to sprawl out, and the Jumbo is bigger than he needs, but I don't regret it! The quality of the bed is much better than similar styles in chain stores.

Spot clean or vacuum.

Brand: Petmaker

👤The wood is light and easy to maneuver. Dogs are easy to climb and descend. It takes up little space. Inexpensive. I found that ramps are more expensive than stairs. The fabric is very smooth. There was no grip at all. It takes up a lot of space because it is so steep. The ramp is on the floor. There is a gap between my bed and the ramp. I can see this being a problem for some. The ramps are easier on the joints. I wanted to alleviate joint stress from my two chihuahuas because they jump up and down in my bed. Gizmo has a knee cap that moves in and out. It's a condition that gets worse over time. I wanted a preventive measure to ease their joint stress because Gizmo and Rocket are both in good health. They both accepted the ramp. I trained with treats. They need to quickly climb and descend by running. I was worried that they would hit the floor too hard when descending. I bought a mat. The kind of mat used for people who are standing. It gives them a soft landing and grips the floor well. It works to keep the ramp from sliding. I bought on Amazon for $27. A ramp on floors other than carpet is a worthwhile purchase. The ramp is best used as a preventative measure against joint stress. Medium to small dogs are best. This has been a good solution for my dogs, but I only gave it three stars because of the cons I listed. This won't work for many dogs.

👤My small dog is no longer allowed to jump due to surgeries, so I purchased this ramp for him. The ramp is very sturdy and well made, my only complaint is that the material is slippery and my dog had a hard time getting up it, I recovered it with a carpet like material that was not slippery. I gave it 4 stores instead of 5 because of that. The cardboard was added by us as our dog tried to cheat and jump off the ramp so we had to put up walls.

👤This is a cat ramp and would not be a good idea for a small dog. I would have returned it, but my window time is up since it sat at my US PO box until I could pick it up, which is great for cats, not small dogs.

👤The ramp does not provide traction with the microfiber texture. There is a space at the top where the leg can fall into. I returned the product because I didn't think it was safe for my senior chihuahua.

👤The padding made it difficult for my dog to climb up. She is now 18 years old, and has still faithfully used her ramp, but it had a bit more padding than I anticipated. She wasn't able to hold onto it as she walked up. We finally figured out how to use it in a better way after 3 months. I put the ramp on one side of the bed. She hopped on to the bed after walking up the ramp. She was not afraid of falling to the sides of the ramp. She is able to get on the bed in this way. It's easier for her to fall to the sides of the ramp instead of having to climb all the way up to the very top. Having the ramp lean next to our bed has made it possible for my little girl to lean on the side of the bed for support, and then climb onto the bed with her mom. I never picked her up from the bed. I picked her up to use her new ramp after she barked and used profanity to request my help. It took three months. She has done it. Yey!

Brand: Petsafe

👤The lack of stability was the reason for giving one star. The ramp is shaky if we don't support it in the middle. I've seen reviews where the ramp is broken in the same place. It looks like the plastic needs to be thicker in these areas. It won't make it more stable, only that something under the hinge will do that. Our dog doesn't want to go up the ramp. Our dog walks up without a problem after we added bright towels. I wouldn't buy again unless the issues are addressed. If you found this review helpful, please click on theHelpful button so others can read it.

👤It's lightweight, folds easily, and doesn't take up a lot of room in my vehicle. Replacing the "traction" covering with carpet will give you more traction. The sandpaper was like my dog trying to climb a steep board and it gave no grip at all. I went to Home Depot to get a 6' x 1' piece of carpet, which I cut into two 3-foot lengths to allow for the fold. The carpet was taped down using double-side carpet tape after the sandpaper was pulled off. I let it set for 24 hours before I had my dog use it. We trained on this. I would give it 5 stars if it was carpeted. My dog got used to it very quickly. I bribed him with treats when I started the training indoors. He was used in on my vehicle and had to come DOWN first. I hold his collar to direct him up the ramp when I take him up. He is a very large chocolate lab and getting in and out of the car was becoming a chore for him. He doesn't want to try to get in or out without the ramp, so a complete success! He's still expecting treats, but he's a Lab! The photos show how I upgraded the covering. The happy face of the dog who uses it.

👤I bought this to prevent him from jumping in and out of my truck and damaging his hips and joints. I put this in my trunk and strap it down so it doesn't move. The ramp had only been used 50 times before it broke. Our dog was injured in the fall when the ramp broke while he was trying to walk up it. We had to bring him to the vet because he was limping for days. We were fortunate that he stopped limping a couple of days before his scheduled X-Rays, because they were adamant that it was a front injury. We have been keeping him calm and relaxed as we want to make sure he is healed before he can play again. Don't let the same thing happen to your dog. This ramp is dangerous. We decided to use foam/sturdy stairs.

👤We decided to go for a ramp because we wanted to make sure that our golden retriever was safe, but I decided to remove the material that was supposed to be on the ramp. I used double-sided indoor/ outdoor fiberglass carpet tape. She did not hesitate to go up the ramp since we have the turf in the back yard. I wish Solvit would use textured ourdoor carpet or turf as the surface for the ramp instead of the abrasive material. If you're replacing the lower portion of the ramp with something else, make sure you leave a little extra to overlap the hinge so there's no gap when the ramp is open.

6. Sidelinx Dog Ramp

It is portable and folds flat for easy storage.

Brand: Sidelinx

👤I was looking for the height, length and quality of the ramp. My old Yorkie has trouble walking up the rug at a low incline because it's slippery. I didn't have any wood and MzE It's better, but rungs made of wood would have worked better. It's a good height for my couch, and it's easier for him to use than steps.

👤It works well for an inexpensive ramp. It is light weight and has 3 heights. The carpet has ridges on it that help your pet hold onto it. If I could get them to use it.

👤I like that it's already assembled. It was easy to use. My shih tzu's legs would shoot out from under her. We supported her butt but it was too slippery. The description of the anti slip grip is incorrect. It is just carpet. My dog will hurt her hind legs if we continue to use it.

👤My mini dog got used to it in one day. A little slippery. He was able to handle it.

👤I love this product. Genius. It's lightweight, sturdy and easy to unfold. I would like to get this years ago. Excellent! Susan F.

👤We are very happy with the ramp. It was easy to set up. Our dog is only 8 lbs but the ramp is strong enough for larger dogs. Our dog does not have a problem going up or down. We attached non-slip foam to the bottom edges of the wood floor so that it wouldn't slide again. It looks nice. We would recommend.

👤The ramp is easy to fold. It is very slippery. It's not long enough to avoid a steep incline to reach the sofa. My older, small dog is trying to walk up and down and has slipped and fallen several times trying to get down. It is not a good solution for a small dog.

👤The width is a big concern. My dog slipped off the side because it was not very wide. The wood to wood was 13 1/3” across. The tread to tread inside was about 12 inches. His first time going up a ramp. He acts without thinking. He is elderly with dementia and hope he gets it. Knowing him, don't think so. I might need to tape the brackets to keep them in place. It's easy to slip out with a moving target.

👤I bought this after I had to return a different ramp because it was unsafe and my dog kept slipping on it. This one provides rail guards and anti slip stickers on the bottom of the ramp so it doesn't move, and it goes to the height I need. The ramp has a non slip surface. My dog is easy to walk up and down.

👤I absolutely recommend this ramp. My lab mix is 12 years old and has painful hip dysplasia and arthritis. She's at a time in her life when making daily activities easier for her is very important. She dislikes ramps that are made of wood for going outside. She uses it to get up on the bed now that she's used to going up this little wonder, but a few times she was forced to use a piece of her favorite treat to get used to it. She is 75 lbs and it doesn't move. I put it on the carpet at the end of the bed. The rails are made of wood and there are holes in them so that you can put them on either side if you need to rearrange your room later. The height is easy to change for any size dog or animal. I would like to personally thank the person who invented this, it has made life so much easier for my sweet girl.

👤In 6 days, I will have surgery. My dog was injured. I bought this ramp for my 60 pound terrier, who had recently torn his left anterior cruciateerin, and it claims it can hold up to 90 pounds. The ramp was difficult to climb because of its steepness, the rails did not help him from falling off, and the angle of the ramp made it hard for him to use it on higher settings. I had faith that it would hold up for a while, but I was wrong. The treaded walk space gave out on him as he was climbing up the ramp. I was standing close to him and was able to keep him from falling, but he injured his leg when this product failed on him. I can't explain how upset I am that I trusted this product to help my dog, but instead it injured him, and I spent almost $200 on a ramp for it to break in less than a week. Luckily my husband is a welder, roofer, and carpenter, and he added 4 screws to make sure that it wouldn't do that again. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who is using it for a dog that is recovering from an injury. I wish I'd spent a little more money and bought a bigger, stronger dog ramp.

👤It does what it says it will. There are some problems. I'm returning it for a refund because my dog is terrified of it. I can tell you that this thing is not worth $150. This is a modified dinner tray made out of cheap materials. The walking platform is not very sturdy. The wood isn't cut right and feels cheap. The rails don't fit in the holes. There are sticky pads on the bottom. They are barely sticking. I would pass on this for two reasons. You can build something better on your own. I should have gone that route.

Brand: Ausail

👤The ramp was sturdy and well made. It worked well for my dog, who is about 30 lbs. There are some things that I liked about the ramp. 1. The ramp is strong. When my dog walks up the ramp, it doesn't shake. It has an extra stabilizing attachment. 2. The surface is soft. My dog is not afraid of going up and down. Extra slip strips are added. 3. It is well designed. It can be adjusted to change the angle of the ramp. I can change the angle of my bed or couch. The customer service is excellent. Customer service helped me get the ramp straightened out after I had a question about it. I am very pleased with this ramp and can recommend it.

👤The construction is pretty well made, so I gave it the stars. It's a nice piece, but my 85 pound dog can't walk up it without tipping over or collapsing under him, and I can't put it on the lowest height.

👤She is terrified of everything. She has mastered the ramp in a matter of 15 minutes with treat bribing, and it doesn't wobble around. If it can hold up her doing zoomies, it's basically indestructible. We had to adjust the strips for the other reason. It would be a good idea.

👤A 73lb Belgian Shepherd with two partial CCL tears can't use stairs or jump into the car for a vet visit. He was able to get in the car in a less painful way because of this ramp. The ramp is sturdy and well made. No assembly is required for all wood construction. The lowest incline is 16 degrees, and the highest is 35 degrees. The top of the ramp is covered in a textured carpet material that provides enough traction for most dogs. It's easy to deploy and store. There are a number of identical ramps listed on Amazon. They're all the same, so find the cheapest one. Good deal!

👤Some dog ramps are too slippery for some dogs. There are 4 - 14 by 2 inch strips of carpet on the other side of the building. The carpet on the ramp will be grabbed by the Velcro. It is important that a product is easy to use and assemble. The only assembly issues are to put the extra carpet strips on the carpet and make the footprint a little wider. The appropriate nuts are in the ramps and two screws are already in the brace. Within a minute or two, total assembly is done.

👤I got this for my dog. She loves to ride in the full size truck but is starting to have trouble jumping into her back seat from the garage floor. The wooden bar can be put into the appropriate notch to get the best angle. She can now jump into the backseat of the truck and walk up the floor. Extra strips of Velcro are provided to stick onto the carpeted ramp for even more foot support. I only needed to use 2 of the strips because of her size. I keep this out of the way until she needs it. To store is simple. She loves going on rides. I have tried other plastic ramps that are designed to fit into a vehicle. None of them fit. Even if they had fit, they were too heavy and awkward to use.

Brand: Senneny

👤I bought this to replace my broken one. This ramp is very sturdy. Looks good. It's a good idea to walk up the ramp after having a few glasses of wine, but don't. If you're a 250 pound man.

👤My dog uses this ramp all the time. It works well despite the fact that it could use a little more traction. He can get on the couch if we keep it on the 2nd steepest setting. I don't think he could do it at the highest setting. The ramp is similar to other more expensive ones I've seen.

👤This is easy to set and move. It is strong. The material on the ramp was too slippery for our dog. Our dog kept sliding down as we tried to put on a sweatshirt and towel. The yoga mat worked perfectly. It is possible to change the height. I thought I would use it on the highest setting, but it turned out the 16 inch worked better for our dog. I like the way the wood looks. It's easy to put it away. It is helping our dog's hip. I am glad I bought this ramp.

👤I thought I should get a ramp so that my dog wouldn't jump up and down the sofa. He got used to it fairly quickly but still had trouble with it being carpeted because he kept slipping. He's fine when set at the lower levels. It's cheap looking. I noticed that the package wasn't setting properly after I set it up, which is annoying. The ramp is ok. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd seen it before. There are many ramps in this price range that are more sturdy.

👤I received many recommendations that this would be a good option for my dog, and I was very excited for this product. Graci slid down the ramp, and could not get traction to get up, which made me sad, because the purpose of the ramp was defeated. She slid down the ramp and ended up running into items in the area, even though she tried to get down the ramp. A better traction pad would be nice. I thought to add one of my own, but it's a large ramp which takes up more room than I can afford, and now Graci is afraid of it, I tried!

👤The little dog tried to climb it, but slipped and fell on her belly, MzE I stapled the yoga mat over the carpet. The smallest dog was able to make it to the top without slipping. I lowered it to the next height. She had to jump 10 inches at the end to get on the bed. The 20 lbs dog made it despite being more hesitant. I will probably put a couple of 2 x 4s under it. The bottom needs to be away from the floor. A small dog should be able to step up a few inches to get on this thing. I would have looked for a ramp with a rubber tread instead of making my own.

10. Pet Gear Stairs 200 Pounds Chocolate

Pet Gear Stairs 200 Pounds Chocolate

Medium and large dogs have wider and deeper stair landings. The carpet is machine washed. The step is secured with rubber gantries on the bottom. It snaps together very easily. The step height is 6; the top step depth is 12. Small Breeds, Medium Breeds, and Large Breeds are the sizes. The product has a dimensions of 22L x20W. x16"H

Brand: Pet Gear

👤A nine-year-old overweight dog is jumping into the back of my car. I tried a ramp but it was flimsy and would move around when someone tried using it. He kept sliding even with the texture of the paper. He took to the steps immediately after he got them. A video shows how easy it is for my dog to use. The steps are easy to pick up. I love these steps.

👤I've waited a long time to write this review. I took a chance on the Pet Gear Easy Step II Extra Wide because I wanted my dog to be comfortable using it. The dog is a large breed, 112lb 9 month old puppy, and the car is a BMW X5. The puppy was getting too heavy to be put into the back passenger seats. We didn't want her to jump out on her own. The tender growing joints could suffer from the constant impact. I didn't want something heavy to lift and expand every time we used it. Extra room at the side of the car was a problem at the dog park. This product exceeds our expectations. The dog walked into the car using the steps. It took a week or so for her to be comfortable walking on her own. I had to help her use the step going out, but we didn't have to lift her. Our dog will eventually reach 150 lbs and the stairs will be able to accommodate her. They'll fit at the side of the car. There is no need for extra space for a ramp. It's so light that I can put it in the back of the car with one hand and hold the leashed dog.

👤We got this for our dog after she jumped out of the car and wrenched her back. I chose the steps over the ramp because I was worried that I wouldn't always be able to use the ramp because there wasn't enough space behind the car. If your dog is willing and able to turn as they step up, you only need 3 feet. The steps in our car can be used to get into the cargo area or the back seat for storage. Since we live in a place that is snowy in the winter, I think it's a plus that the steps are hollow on the underside, so you can press them down into the snow to make sure they are stable. I don't think a ramp would work on ice. They were easy to assemble and use, and our dog can use them, since she still thinks she is spry enough to jump in and out. Even if we have to help her up them, it's still easier than trying to lift her straight into the back.

👤My husband and I recently purchased a king size bed with a bed set and it is a bit higher than our old bed. The American dog is almost 9 years old and sleeps in bed with us. I had to get some stairs because he doesn't always make it when he jumps, and I don't want him jumping up and down. I did a lot of research before choosing this easy step 2, extra wide. Anything smaller would not have worked. I'm glad I got this. Dozer was very confused by these at first. He still forgets how to use them. I am very pleased with how he has adapted to the stairs. He gets very proud when he walks up them by himself, and we don't have to remind him that he has stairs. We've been using these for a while now and have no issues with them. If the cloth pads get dirty, you can just take them off and put them in the washer. I almost took a star off for how hard it was for me to put the stairs together by myself, but I was recovering from a torn acl and mcl. I wasn't as tough and couldn't bend like I normally do. It was difficult for me. I will be buying the same stairs again if something happens to them.

👤It's heavy enough to stay in place and soft enough to not hurt your toes when you kick it. Sturdy enough to hold up for our dogs and cats. The cover is tough enough to hold the claws of a dog. My pug rubs his eyes on it and sometimes moves it out of position. I'm sure attaching it to the sofa or putting something underneath will make a difference.

👤We bought this foam for our house. We bought a plastic spatula. It was a bit of a challenge for our dog to get up and down. This is a great accessory for our dog because it is made of FOAM and it is very soft. It took about 10 minutes at the most. The hardest part was putting the cover over the sponges. Good purchase.

👤The stairs worked well for my elderly cat. The stairs I tried were too steep for him to use. I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to walk up and down from the couch without any trouble after I set them up. I would never have tried the wood and plastic stairs if I had known how good they were. These are perfect.

👤Works well with tall couches. If the dog falls, it's not a big deal because the firm enough to be stable when the dog walks up or down is soft. I wish it had a handle.

👤It can be difficult to find the right ramp for dachshunds. I bought a second one for our bedroom because this was so perfect for the couch. Even an old dog would do well with thestairs. I have seen our dogs get a running start and make their way up. The fabric adds traction. It is light and easy to move. The foam looks good. Highly recommended for your short legged friends.

👤Result fantstico. Muy perros de patas cortas.

👤Awesome! It's the same or better than a straight ramp. I will buy it again.

👤This is a big step for my son. He needs assistance getting up on the couch. It is a soft step and no toes are hurt. I use it to rest my legs. It's a good thing. Adding a cloth handle to a future model would make moving room to room easier.
