👤My dog can't jump onto my couch or bed because of his back leg injuries. I bought two pet steps for him. He knew what to do on the first try. It is easy to move when I am cleaning.
👤I got this for my dog. I can't get him to use this one in the living room because he uses a different one in the bedroom. Even if they can jump, the other dogs started using it. Hopefully soon? It was hard to get the cover on and it was a bit loose at first. Time will tell.
👤The steps are easy for my dog to follow. I had hard plastic steps before this one, but she refused to use them. This one is worth a lot.
👤The small piece of foam was cut in a way that made it look like a step, and it was sent back to me faster than it took to open it.
👤Awesome steps for my tripod that my son had just had TPLO on his back leg. He got the all-clear a month ago and is using these steps like a champ.
👤My dog has trouble getting up on the couch. I thought she would use the stairs instead of the ramp. It is light and sturdy. She was taught to use it quickly.
👤It works for my dog. She can access her window again.
👤I bought a second one after liking it so much. It is easy for the pups to use. The color matches my sofas. I might get a third one for my office.
SupertraX tread is soft, protects pets paws, and is easy to clean. The patented free-standing design of the ramp does not need to rest on furniture. The ramp folds into a small pouch for storage. The raised edges help keep the side from slipping. For pets up to 200 pounds, it is 56-inch L x 16-inch W x 23-inch H. "From the Manufacturer" is an exciting feature that you can read below. The age range describes all life stages. Easy to store is a special feature.
👤I'm not sure if I like this ramp. Our small dogs were having trouble jumping on our bed, so I ordered one for them. It was perfect for them. My daughter's dog had started having a harder time jumping on the bed, so I ordered a new one. There is no grip on either side of the ramp as her dog slipped off it a couple times. Her dog was large. There is a The dog was no longer able to walk after the second slip because of a back injury. Go forward a week. She was held up to pee. Started not eating much and stopped eating. She deteriorated very quickly. We put her down. If you purchase this ramp, I would recommend you add some grip to both sides. I wouldn't recommend this.
👤The ramp is too steep. I'm a vet that does rehabilitation and my dog is well trained, but it had trouble with this one. Too steep and not enough traction. The carpet is very thin and there is no traction. I'm not sure if I could walk down this ramp.
👤She has used a wooden step ramp for years on another part of the house, but the ramp is not as stable as it could be. My dog is 12 years old and she doesn't like it so we put it on the floor with chairs on both sides and made her run over it to get a treat. After a few days, we put up a ramp to her favorite spot on the couch, with the chairs on both sides, and she was happy to go up and down. We will remove the chairs in the next few days and I will update my review, but it looks great now.
👤I returned because the locking mechanism wouldn't open. I was charged a fee for a return that was not in my control, and it was brand new and returned the same way without the lock working. I own many Pet gear Pet steps, from 2, 3 and 4 high, and purchased several as gifts. NEVER again will you lose a loyal customer.
👤Maya injured her left hind leg five months ago. I had 3 pet steps in different sizes so I thought that would solve our problem. She didn't have the strength to push herself up. She could still jump off the bed, which would have injured her legs and knees. I lifted her back up, but she continued to jump off the bed while I was sleeping and loudly awaken me when she returned. I didn't want to buy another piece of pet furniture as it was competing with mine for space. I decided that I needed to sleep more than worry about space. My family of dogs, cats, and I love it. I still use the steps to get to my furniture. I had to raise the bottom end of the steps because Maya couldn't make it up that steep. I just went to Home Depot and had them cut a piece of wood in two and glue it together withGorilla glue. Since my pets are small, I didn't have to anchor the wood piece with screws or nails. This product is very good.
Small and large dogs have a wider and deeper stair landing. The carpet is machine washed. The step is secured with rubber gantries on the bottom. It snaps together very quickly. The weight limit is 200 lbs. The top step depth is 12.25 inches. You can read "From the Manufacturer" for more exciting features.
👤I bought this for our golden dog, who spends most of her time on the couch, and the little guy, who wants to go where she goes. The dog is not smart. It took him a few days to figure out the steps, and he has to be shown that he can still get up. The stairs are strong. It says for dogs over 75 pounds. I weigh around 200 and have sat on them without incident. My wife dislikes the stairs because they're not attractive. They look like the picture, with hard plastic and cheap carpet on the steps. The brown color is a good match for our couch, so that was a plus for us. I think these are overpriced. I'm surprised I wasn't able to find a better deal because I think these cost a very small amount to manufacture. My guess is that the kind of person who allows their pet on their furniture is not the kind of person who is concerned about spending money on their pets, and the companies who manufacture and market these things take advantage of that. I thought about making my own steps instead of buying, but I didn't have the time to devote to it, and I'm sure I could have made something out of wood and carpet that would have looked better for less money.
👤Some people say that the steps fall apart. My steps would fall apart. I contacted Amazon and they replaced the product for free. The 2nd set of stairs work well and do not fall apart. The molded nodules are supposed to stick into the holes on the sides of the frame to hold the stool pieces together. Some of them may not hold when you snap them together. They hold for a while, maybe a week or two, and then the side starts to come away from the steps. If you push it back together, it will hold for another possible week, and then you have to push it back together to avoid having one of the steps bottom out and cave in. There seems to be an issue with manufacturing. I wish the steps were not slanted and that there were three steps instead of two. I am worried that my dog will need that as he gets older. These seem to be fine for now. He's about the size of the white dog in the picture, thanks to Amazon for Haskell-free replacement!
👤My second set of steps. A senior cat I adopted had an eye removed. She can easily climb up on my bed if she takes the steps that make it so she can easily make it up to her window perches. These are easy to put together, sturdy and easy for pets to climb up and down. The carpeted tops on the steps can be removed with the use of a hand wash. If you have a cat or small dog with a physical handicap, or a senior animal that needs assistance getting up on beds, this is a great option. I am happy I found them. The picture was taken 13 days after her surgery.
CertiPUR US certified foam interior is high density. It's ideal for smaller pets. There is a comfort cover. The version is 17 inches x 14 inches.
👤I have had these stairs for over a year now and they are still in the same condition as when I first purchased them, so I cannot recommend them more. They are perfect. I found another set of stairs in a larger size that were able to reach the top of my bed, so I purchased those as well. The stairs are one of the most worthwhile purchases I have ever made. I want to say that these stairs are amazing. My world is my 16 year old cockapoo. I have had him since he was 3 months old and I always try to make sure he is comfortable and healthy. He is doing well, but he has arthritis and weakness in his joints that sometimes causes him to limp, and he can not jump up on couches or beds. He is on an all-natural supplement for this, but it won't make everything perfect again. We used to have to pick him up and down on the couch and he would always jump off the couch without us looking because he could hurt himself doing so. I did a lot of research on different stairs, but finally decided on this one after a lot of trial and error. I am very happy with my decision. These steps are the perfect height for my couch, and they look really nice, and make it easy for my little guy to get up and down from the couch. The outer fabric is very soft and can be removed via a zip. You can clean the outer cover by washing it in your washing machine on cold and drying it in your dryer on cold. This is a saving grace for any dog owner. It is wonderful to be able to clean the dog paws safely. You should only use mild soap and water to clean the inside. The stairs are made of foam, which is not very useful for most people. The foam on these stairs is very firm and can be applied to any part of it, but it is not able to shock the joints of a dog or cat going up or down it. My experience has been. There is a I have had these stairs for over a year now and they look exactly like they did when I got them. There were no dents or misshaping in any part of the stairs. I have a 65lb Pitbull who helps himself to the stairs occasionally, and it holds up really well under his weight, and it does not tear or get damaged by his sharp nails. After a few minutes of teaching him how to use them, Kobi decided to use them and sat at our feet, waiting for us to pick him up. He is always using his stairs and never just jumping off the couch. This is saving his joints. I am so thankful that I decided on these stairs. I had been considering almost all the options that Amazon had to offer and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I recommend these to anyone who needs stairs for their pet. These are the best you can get. I wish they made taller versions of this. I could use it for my bed as well. There are disagreements. The only thing I can say is that it is close to a con, but moreso a small improvement that could be made to make it even better. I wish the stairs were an inch or two larger so my dog could have more room to move around without tripping over each other. This isn't a con, but it would be better if I could make it easier for my dog to go up them. You can have a look at the video. I have included a video showing Kobi going up and down the stairs, so you can see how easy he is to navigate, and I have also shown how I can push as hard as I can on the stairs to conform to my body. The stairs are worth every penny. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet. I would buy them a million times.
Use the folding ramp to help your best friend get in and out of your car, minivan or SUV, all by themselves, to improve road trips together. The ramp is independently tested and rated to support pets up to 150 pounds. The ramp is lightweight and easy to carry and lift in and out of the car. Side rails and a high-traction surface keep your dog from sliding on the ramp. It's simple to store: the ramp folds in half and the locks on it let you store it in your vehicle. The folding ramp is 62 inch L X 16 inch W X 4 inch H. The PetSafe dog ramps are made in the United States.
👤The lack of stability was the reason for giving one star. The ramp is shaky if we don't support it in the middle. I've seen reviews where the ramp is broken in the same place. It looks like the plastic needs to be thicker in these areas. It won't make it more stable, only that something under the hinge will do that. Our dog doesn't want to go up the ramp. Our dog walks up without a problem after we added bright towels. I wouldn't buy again unless the issues are addressed. If you found this review helpful, please click on theHelpful button so others can read it.
👤It's lightweight, folds easily, and doesn't take up a lot of room in my vehicle. Replacing the "traction" covering with carpet will give you more traction. The sandpaper was like my dog trying to climb a steep board and it gave no grip at all. I went to Home Depot to get a 6' x 1' piece of carpet, which I cut into two 3-foot lengths to allow for the fold. The carpet was taped down using double-side carpet tape after the sandpaper was pulled off. I let it set for 24 hours before I had my dog use it. We trained on this. I would give it 5 stars if it was carpeted. My dog got used to it very quickly. I bribed him with treats when I started the training indoors. He was used in on my vehicle and had to come DOWN first. I hold his collar to direct him up the ramp when I take him up. He is a very large chocolate lab and getting in and out of the car was becoming a chore for him. He doesn't want to try to get in or out without the ramp, so a complete success! He's still expecting treats, but he's a Lab! The photos show how I upgraded the covering. The happy face of the dog who uses it.
👤I bought this to prevent him from jumping in and out of my truck and damaging his hips and joints. I put this in my trunk and strap it down so it doesn't move. The ramp had only been used 50 times before it broke. Our dog was injured in the fall when the ramp broke while he was trying to walk up it. We had to bring him to the vet because he was limping for days. We were fortunate that he stopped limping a couple of days before his scheduled X-Rays, because they were adamant that it was a front injury. We have been keeping him calm and relaxed as we want to make sure he is healed before he can play again. Don't let the same thing happen to your dog. This ramp is dangerous. We decided to use foam/sturdy stairs.
👤We decided to go for a ramp because we wanted to make sure that our golden retriever was safe, but I decided to remove the material that was supposed to be on the ramp. I used double-sided indoor/ outdoor fiberglass carpet tape. She did not hesitate to go up the ramp since we have the turf in the back yard. I wish Solvit would use textured ourdoor carpet or turf as the surface for the ramp instead of the abrasive material. If you're replacing the lower portion of the ramp with something else, make sure you leave a little extra to overlap the hinge so there's no gap when the ramp is open.
The pet ramp is packed in a vacuum compression package and should be opened before use, the sponge should come in contact with the air, and it takes time to rebound after opening. It can fully rebound after a few days, depending on the temperature and how fast it rebound. The steps are 15.75in x 7.1in. Their dog stairs are great for older dogs who are less mobile as they age. If you want to reduce the strain on your pet's joints, you should use more wide and deep steps. The cover of the pet's toy is more slippery than other covers. The dimensions of the dog Stair are 28.5 in. L x 15.7in. W x 20 in. A foam pet stair and soft cover. There is no skid bottom surface. The use of the stair does not affect the back of the stair. The stair cover is easy to clean. 30D high density foam is used for the stair, it is not easy to lose shape. Pets weighing less than 60 pounds are recommended. Extra send: a dog rope toy or a pet hair removal roller.
👤The foam stairs were tightly compressed. I didn't think it was steps. It was restored back to its original shape. The steps are made of styrofoam. The material was tailored to the steps. Just match the shape to the steps and the material slipped right into place. The design was good. After 6 different purchases, I have a sleep number bed for my 2 year old. We finally have a winner! She used the treats like an old pro after placing them on the upper steps. They allow me to get in and out of my side of the bed. A great design!
👤Absolutely adore this! My dogs took to it with no problems, but they were always hesitant on the steps, like they had to prepare before running up them. My Roscoe has gotten slower with the steps this year but now he is more comfortable and it doesn't seem to bother him. Over and over I would recommend you. I was worried when I opened the bag because some of the steps looked a little different. After a few minutes, the steps took shape and the cover was fine. My Yetah immediately grabbed and ran off with the rope toy. I think that's correct.
👤Don't panic! I thought I had received it when I opened it from the small box. I thought I had wasted $100 on foam that wouldn't look like an advertisement. I was not sure what it looked like when it first opened. I am aware that foam expands, but I never thought it could look right. I have included a picture of what it looked like when it was first rolled. It did not look like steps. It was only 12 inches high and looks like it would rock on the bottom, but within 24 hours it expanded and looked great. I was amazed. It grew to 19 inches high. That is a couple of inches shorter than we had expected. The set of steps was supposed to be 22 inches high. The height was important to us because we wanted the cat to get onto the bed. The 19 inches did not work as we expected. A rescue cat is paralyzed in the hind end. She can pull herself up with her paws, but she has trouble with traditional pet steps because they use hard plastic. She can scale her claws with these foam steps. She has a disability and they are perfect for her. When I opened this, I was scared. The price is another negative. The price is worth it to help my cat, but I think it is a bit steep for foam. I recommend these all the time. They are perfect for helping a disabled pet.
👤The steps were perfect for my dog. She figured them out on her own in the first two days. It's the only way she can leave the bed now. It takes a while for the foam to get into shape after you take it out of the box. It plumps up, be patient. Great purchase.

👤This is a great ramp. I have two dogs. My oldest is 14 years old and weighs 78 lbs. My youngest is 4 years old and weighs 84 lbs. My oldest is very strong for her age, but my youngest has knee problems. I bought a ramp for her. She doesn't like being lifted into my car and can't jump into it. When I decided to purchase a ramp, I did a lot of research. Every style of ramp is reviewed on Amazon. It took several days. "My Dog Hated It" is not a helpful review. Your dog hated it. I paid my dogs to like it. There are pros and cons to this ramp. The pros are 1. My lab with wide set shoulders had plenty of run to walk on it, because it was the widest one I could find. 2. It was strong enough for both dogs to be on it at the same time. 84 lbs + 78 lbs. 163 lbs. It looks like it's well made and it doesn't move when they are on it. 3. The incline to the car is reasonable because of the long ramp. A steep incline would have been problematic for my youngest lab. 4. It has a side handle for easy carrying. 5. The texture of the sand paper is non-slip. I didn't find it to be very rough. Cons 1. It is a bit long when it is at its shortest length. It does fit into my car but it takes up more space than I like. I would have liked it to be a tri-fold. 2. The nail scratches are easy to see with the Sand Paper texture. The dog ramp is not a runway. I should keep that in perspective. 3. When it's slid closed, it doesn't have a locking mechanism. I would have added that if I were the designer. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but I could see it being for others. There are some additional thoughts. Most dogs will need to be trained to use it. I followed the advice of another reviewer and laid it flat on the ground. I left it out so they could use it. I used treats to get them to walk across it. I raised it a couple of inches once they were okay. I had them walk across it with treats. I raised it again once they were used to it. It took four 30 minute sessions to get them to use it. I left it on the back steps for 3 days and said I would use it with the car. It worked. 2. It is 17 lbs. It is easy to slide away when you need to, but it has some weight to it and is a bit awkward. I can get it out of my car without a problem. I am strong. I like to put bigger items in the back of my car. I still worked with my dogs on sitting and waiting for me to put it away before moving around. I didn't want them to pull on their leashes while I manhandling it into the back of the car.
It was designed for pets. The classic sofa design promotes ultimate comfort and security, providing high-loft orthopedic cushion support as well as a super cozy nestling and burrowing space for dogs and cats. The sleep surface is disturbed. The main sleep surface is lined with soft faux fur, while the supportive bolsters are wrapped in diamond-patterned woven upholstery fabric, which are gentle on noses and paws. It's easy on joints. The egg crate has a foam base that helps cushion pressure points and improve air circulation, and bolster railings that support the neck, back, hips, and joints. Diamond Brown is a large, 36" x 27" x 7.25" foam mattress. There are available VARIANTS. 👤We have three fur babies, 45, 65 and 90 lbs., so I bought three of these beds. My review is based on what I have read. If you've bought a lot of dog beds in the past, you have the experience to compare them. Our senior dogs love the Sam's Club orthopedic dog beds, which are reasonably priced. We shop on Amazon a lot and have a lot of great buying experiences. These dog beds are not of good quality. I wouldn't classify them as orthopedic because they are so flimsy. I opened one box to look at the bed and I knew that all three beds would be returned. I went to my local Sam's Club the next day and bought three large Serta Orthopedic dog beds for $44 each. My senior dogs love them. If you are looking to buy a thick, memory foam dog bed that will provide support for you dog, this is not it. You can check out your local Sam's Club.
👤My dog loves it! I got the big dog, he's 90 lbs.
👤The "deep pool" plush style and the quilted red style were the beds I bought. They are vastly different. The blue one is very strong and soft. The red one feels weak. Both of my dogs prefer the blue one. The dog, cat, and toddler love the blue one, it's a win win. I thought the quilted top would be easier to clean than buying two of them because my dog likes to chew bones on his bed. I gave the blue bed 5 stars and the red bed 2 stars. They are excellent in size. A 3 year old toddler and a 65-75 lbs rough collies are shown. These are large beds.
👤I bought this for my kids teepee, but I am sure any dog would love it. I am hoping that the jumbo size will help prevent the teepee from sliding around on the wood floors and that it will be more comfortable. My daughter was on it.
👤It's what you pay for. The gray large one I bought was based on the sleep measurement. I compared it to our hound and pointer's favorite bed and it's not correct. It's more like a 24 x 19 sleeping area. The material is very thin and soft, I could see it shredding on delicates. The memory foam is too soft and colapses on the floor. It's an alright bed for a month if it fits the bill, but not long term forDurability, Material, or Joint Protection of your dog. I'm not sure if I'll order a size up.
👤Better than I anticipated. I have 3 Great Danes who like to steal seats on the couch. I've been looking at jumbo sized beds, but they are expensive. I got 2 of these for a little over $35 a piece. It's much better priced than similar items at petco or petsmart.
👤I bought this for my 120lb Rottweiler/lab mix and it's very nice. He has plenty of room to sprawl out and get comfortable even if he isn't big enough in the big sizes. It seems to be of good quality and he's happy.
We want to make it easier for your dog to feel comfortable and confident taking their new ramp, so they have included a detailed dog training manual and dog training clicker to support active learning. The pet ramp can be adjusted to 16 inches and 12 inches, and the total length is 28.6 inches. The dog ramp is made of quality wood, the anti-slip pad is made of polypropylene fiber, and the high traction surface makes the pet feel at ease. The pet ramp is lightweight and can be folded in half to fit into a vehicle or storage room. The portable pet ramp can be folded into a flat shape so it can be easily stored in a car, sofa or bed without taking up too much space. The pet bed ramp can be painted or colored to match your home décor.
👤The customer asked if the heights shown in the picture were the same as the description. Which is it? I hope the pictures clarify the product details. The ramp can be adjusted to different heights. The heights of the top of the ramp at each of the 4 settings are given in the product details. I don't see how giving the dimensions in the picture is important. Please see my last picture if you want to know the height of the points up the ramp. I bought this ramp to help my dog get on the back seat of my car, he has arthritis in his hips. The ramp needs to be on its highest setting. The ramp is steep on this setting, and he struggles to get up it. I don't think this product is appropriate for outdoor use. The frame is made of cheap pine and I don't think it will last long in the mud and the puddles at the dog park.
👤My dogs wouldn't use it at first. They couldn't crawl up or down on the couch. They need all the help they can get. It was difficult on their joints to jump down. They both love using it to go up and down the couch.
👤Don't buy. The ramp broke in less than a week. Contacted seller. There was no response.
👤After recovering from surgery, my dog used it first thing. Thank you.
👤This item was easy to install and stable for the pups.
👤My dog cannot get enough traction to go up the ramp. I don't recommend if you have a small breed.
👤The ramp is decent, but the rug is slippery. The rug would be perfect if it had more traction.
The Natural-Step Ramp is great for trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps and has a safety tether latch. The ramp's lightweight design and soft rubber grip handle make it easy to transport and carry, while the poly-grass walking path makes your dog feel safe to walk up and down it. 👤I needed a ramp to help my dog get around. I am mostly pleased with my purchase after two weeks. I wanted a ramp that would work on the passenger doors that are less than 90 degrees. There is room for the ramp to work. I hold the top corner next to the seat to prevent the dog from wobbling. My wife didn't do this in the picture, but it worked fine. It was easy to train our dog to use the ramp. We started with a small step, then onto the couch and finally the car. The ramp is heavy and sturdy. I have a bad back. There have been no problems so far. The ramp has a clip to hold the two halves together. I removed the clip assembly from the hinges because they were too stiff and a nuisance to un-clip at each use. The ramp is well designed and works well. The folded ramp is behind the driver seat. Hope this review answers some of your questions.
👤I keep it in front of the back seat because it's light and sturdy. I suggested in Gen 7 that they mount the handle on the upper half. It's high because I use it to load my Golden in the back of my truck. The unit unfolds when you hold it by the handle. You need to flip it 180 degrees and put the handle on the bottom. It made no sense to me. I will move my handle to the upper half. The dog prefers to come down than up after six months of using this. It is still awkward to unfold. The designer never used it. You hold the handle and unsnap the catch. The part that goes on the ground is what you would assume would go on the seat or tailgate. It would be perfect if the handle was on the top half.
👤The ramp is very smooth. I finally realized I didn't need a big ramp after purchasing the 71" one. The 42" is perfect for the 94 pound Yutah. The smaller ramp is as strong as the bigger one. This is great. I would have ordered this sooner. It is an awesome product that saves both Yutah and myself. Lifting and jumping are no longer possible. It is easy to use. It works well for my back seat. She seems to enjoy doing it. I read that it was too narrow, but Yutah is a 90 lbs wolamute. It is wide enough for her. I read where people said their dogs fell or jumped off. The people are not to blame. I wouldn't just put up the ramp and walk away, I would have to take an extra 15 seconds to make sure the dog and the ramp are ok.
👤The concept is great here. This ramp is perfect for loading and unloading our large lab into the back of our SUV. It slides nicely into the back section when folded. It looks like it is well made and sturdy. The problem is in the design. When folding the ramp, you tend to grip it from the middle. If you don't take care, the thing could slam closed and it's heavy enough that it could break your fingers. It's not easy to close. I am not an engineer. I don't know the best way to solve this problem, but I think adding a handle strap to all 4 edges would give you multiple places to grab that don't put your fingers in danger. If your finger is inside a channel and you slam it shut, it will not hurt. This is much safer because your hand would grip the channels.
It is possible to match a couch, sofa or bed with the 3 Step-16"x22"x16.5", 4 Step-16"x29"x22" sizes. It's perfect for dogs with arthritis. Pets with small legs, injuries, or chronic illnesses can be helped to reach furniture, food dishes, or the bed without having to climb stairs. Anti-SLIP CARPETING. The thick carpet covering on the hardwood ramp helps to prevent slip and slide, so your pets feel safe going up and down the ramp. Recliners, couches, and other furniture can be adjusted to fit your pet's size by choosing from three different height levels. Protect paws by covering the hardwood surface with a dense layer of carpet to prevent splinters and scratches. The dimensions are 27.5′′ L x 13.25′′ W x 15′′ H. W x 3.25′′ H is flat. It is possible to store this ramp in a way that makes it easy to put it away, by collapsing it down to a flat height of 3.25 inches. Encourage independence in your senior pet by providing them a manageable method of getting up and down from their favorite perches without needing to jump or climb.
👤The couch is steep at that height, and the carpet is too soft for a dog to get traction at that incline, which is why the ramp can't reach it. There are two heights. I wanted a small ramp, but should have gotten a longer one. I believe this one will work with a stiff carpet.
