Size Medium is the best size to fit the girth neck. It's ideal for injuries and post surgery. Cats and dogs can work well together. Light in weight, soft and comfortable, but may not cover the entire body of the pet. The owner should watch in the beginning as the pet may chew. The owner can tighten or loosen as necessary. Pets can eat, sleep, and drink.
👤If it can't fit a dog larger than a cat, then it's not an XXL. After his surgery, I was trying to get something more comfortable for my average size lab/husky mix. I was waiting for something that I couldn't get around his neck for 3 days. The picture is of a stuffed animal. Consumers would know that the dog is small if they used an actual dog. You should not buy unless you have a dog.
👤After surgery for a huge tumor on her back leg, a vet supplied plastic collar that was unwieldy and uncomfortable. The collar we ordered worked just as well and was more comfortable for her. We were very pleased with our purchase.
👤The collar fit my dog perfectly around his neck, but it was so long and inflexible that he couldn't see his feet when going up and down the stairs. He tripped when he got up to greet my husband. We didn't allow him to use the stairs by himself again because he couldn't see where he was going after his first time down the stairs. Returned.
👤This has been great! Doctors had seen the worst reaction they had seen all year when my Chi mix was bitten by a copperhead snake. He was allowed to come home after being in the hospital for 5 days. He was forced to wear a cone with his bandage so that he didn't scratch it, because his wound is right on his neck. We were ready for an alternative as the wound continued to heal after three weeks in the cone. The cone hurt his neck and calves since he is my shadow. I have tried inflatable ecollars, but he would rip them off and puncture them. This soft cone is perfect for his neck. He has not yet tried to get it off. He changed his personality after realizing people were trying to help him and not hurt him. He is usually an ornery little fella. I wish I had found this product sooner because I am so happy to be able to offer him some relief.
👤Our cat needs to be in a collar a lot because of her fur pulling off her tail. She was more comfortable at first because she could get around easier and she could get to the very tip of her tail. We ordered a bigger one but it was too big for her neck. She treated it like a part of her body and groomed it because it was so comfortable. We thought it was cute until she started grooming it. A smaller cone that was tighter around her neck would be too small to keep her from her tail. We think this is a great idea, but it didn't work out for us.
👤I bought this for my cat because she has an allergy and we needed something to stop her from chewing on herself. She's 7.5 lbs. Her neck is 8 in. We bought the small. She can do almost anything, including climb her tree. The loops that can hold a collar or tie to help keep the cone on, are ridiculously long, I cut them off. This cone is perfect for your pet.
There are two things that are SCRATCH and BITE RESISTANT. The inflatable collar is designed to protect your pets from injuries and post surgery wounds, it will prevent pets from biting and licking their injured area or surgical site, and promote recovering from surgery or wounds. The soft outside material and inflatable design will allow your dog to wear it comfortably and it does not block your pet's vision, they can eat, drink, sleep and play normally. You can deflate it and store it in a small space when you don't use it, and there is a bag on one side that you can take out and wash. It is adjusted. You can put the strap side at the back of your dog's neck if you want to make sure he doesn't bite you. There is resilience and stable. The premium collar is soft and clean, it won't mark furniture, and you can insert your pet's everyday collar through the inner ring loops for a stabilization. It is not a guarantee in fit as every dog is different. The product doesn't have an inflator. You should still buy products by the pet's neck. Please contact them if you have any questions.
👤I am very happy with my purchase. My dog got neutered and cone was not working. She couldn't sleep and hated it. We came across this product while exploring other options. It is a travel pillow for dogs. She was stopped from licking her incision, but it also looked comfy. I only deducted a point because the zip was not very durable and derailed after a few days of heavy use. You can see below for before and after.
👤I love this product. I didn't like the idea of one of the big plastic e-collars that my dog would have to wear after she was neutered. Our dog could eat, drink, sleep, and move around comfortably with this collar. She would sometimes hit a wall or door frame with no damage to the walls or pain to us. On the inside there are loops that you feed their every day collar through and then you strap it on the outside. She tried a few times to get it off. She didn't notice it was on most of the time. I was worried about her popping a hole because she was trying to scratch her neck and it was getting itchy. It has held up well. I think this product is a great price and quality. It was true to the size chart. I was able to fit all five fingers between the collar and her neck, even though she couldn't get it off, because it was still snug enough that she couldn't get it off. If she had to wear it longer than 10 days, I would have been very comfortable keeping it on her for a long time. I hope I was able to answer any questions.
👤My dog thought this thing was great. It's much easier to lick his neuter incision than it is to have a cone. He was frightened by the cone because he'd never worn one before and he's a delicate, sensitive person. It made us feel bad. He woke us up by scratching loudly on the floor of his crate because he couldn't figure out how to back up with the cone. It was not as intense. I woke up in the morning and found him with a wet, raw incision he'd been licking. He licked off two days of healing. I spent half the day in the emergency vet office, which cost me $260, instead of enjoying my coffee on the patio. I didn't get a full refund when I returned the cone because it was expensive, but I had to pay for return shipping. This thing might work for a dog with a shorter body like a bulldog, but anything that has a longish body will weasel around it. He's not a Basset hound or a Doxie. It didn't block his vision, as promised. This is a great choice if you're looking for a dumb accessory for your dog. Purchase something else if you want to keep the dog from going to the healing area. The cone worked well for us. He just didn't like it when he had to wear it. The donut collar cost me $267.
Your dog can eat, drink, sleep and play normally, because of the soft outside material and the inflatable design, it does not block your pet's vision. You can deflate it and store it in a small space when you don't use it and there is a bag on one side that you can take out and wash. The inflatable collar is designed to protect your pets from injuries and post surgery wounds, it will prevent pets from biting and licking their injured area or surgical site, and promote recovering from surgery or wounds. You can put the strap side at the back of your dog's neck if you want to make sure he doesn't bite you. Please let them know if you are not happy with their products.
👤This was given to my Jack Russell for her surgery. If you use the product correctly, the collar won't come off. They were using it wrong after reading some reviews of people complaining about the collar slipping off. The inflatable tube is supposed to be attached to the dog's collar. If you stick it on your dog's head, it will pop off.
👤A family member's dog was just neutered. It seems like a decent product, and seems to fit. He's bleeding because he was able to lick himself. If I can figure out what went wrong, I'll change this.
👤She is so itchy this summer that she has been chewing until she leaves wounds. We wanted something better for her, but we didn't want to leave on her. The medium was purchased by me. She is a dog with about 16 lbs. It arrived on the 18th, so fast that I ordered it July 17, 2021. It's easy to blow up, you just have to pinch the inner tube stem and attach using your dog's collar. The cover is soft and it's easy to clean. She was able to eat and play with her Sissy, and her range of vision is not disabled. She can use it as a pillow to sleep. It was worth the $10 I paid. Would highly recommend it!
👤They get cones at the vet, but this is nicer. Our dogs are able to do everything they are used to doing with this collar, except get their wound. Walking down the stairs, eating and drinking with no effort. The bonus for our bear is that she loves a pillow, so this is like a built in pillow for her. She is no longer scaring her sister with the noise the plastic collar makes when she runs into things.
👤It was used for 24 hours and the last time we pulled it out, it popped out and wouldn't hold any air. All the pet stores are closed and my dog has to go without a cone for the entire night because she was injured. Depending on the situation! You have a backup cone if you choose to take the risk.
👤The vet provided a cone of shame. While still preventing access to the incision site, it allows more range of motion without interfering with normal activities. Highly recommended!
👤This item may have saved our sanity. It is certainly worth the purchase. We got this in a hurry to replace the clear plastic e-collar for our 6 month old pup. She doesn't like it. It is better than the plastic option. She can drink and still eat with this on. I am not sure how effective it will be overnight as she has a little more movement, but for use during the day when we are around and she is active, this has been very effective so far. I know she can get to her lower body, but she can't seem to lick high enough on her abdomen to get to her surgical site. It is also effective at keeping our other dog away from her as he is not willing to play with her when she is wearing it.
The 2nd edition recovery collar has been upgraded to allow 3 different shapes and angles. Depending on your pet's post-operation condition, you can easily adjust the shape and angle. The 2nd edition has been made with a stronger water-resistant fabric, and a new shade of unique color "Misty Rose" has been added to your option to match your need. The ARRR comfy UFO recovery neck collar is the best solution for recovery. The collar can be tailored to fit your pet's body type, so it won't hurt a healing wound or injury. The collar does not block your pet's vision, which will allow your pet to eat, drink, sleep, and play as usual. The soft recovery UFO recovery neck collar is made of water resistant fabric and has a strong water repellency textile which makes it much easier to manage. The collar is made of 100% poly which will allow easy removal of pet furs and dust. The noise-free lightweight microfiber cotton will protect your pet from getting irritated when wearing the collar. The collar can be used as a cushion for your pet to sleep on. The neck collar has a soft drawstring at the center that can be adjusted to keep it from slipping down or being taken off. You can either loosen or tighten the rope. Refer to the product's size info image before purchasing. Measure your pet's length from neck to front paws while standing upright. Take the measurement and compare it to the E-collar's radius after adding 2 inches. The length from neck to front paws should be the same as the product's radius. If you feel like your pet is small, choose the bigger one.
👤I didn't know which size my dog would fit in, so I ordered both small and medium. My dog is a 5-pound Maltese and this was for her post-spay recovery. Both fit her well. I returned the small and kept the medium because I wanted to be sure that she wouldn't be able to lick the incision site. It worked well. The product was light and comfortable. My dog wore it for 7 days, even when she was eating and sleeping, and it didn't bother her at all.
👤I can't tell you how great this product is. It was a life saver. My dog had a wound on his foot and needed to wear a cone. He didn't have to wear the hard one from the vet because we had a black soft cone from a previous pet. When I put his black soft cone on, he sat in the kitchen and refused to move. For over twenty minutes. He sat down. The crying began. He couldn't eat or drink with it, he couldn't jump on furniture with it, and he fell on his face trying to jump off the couch. We had to fix things because he was miserable. We found this cone and tried it out. He was very happy with it. It's light, soft, and he can see so he's happy. His neck is about 15 and a half inches. I think I got him a medium that was just over 15 inches and he fit great. He was so close to the top measurements that I didn't need to adjust the drawstring. It would have been easy to do. It worked great because he was so happy with it. He tried to get his foot, but couldn't reach it. He used the cone as a pillow. I might buy more for gifts. This gave our dog peace of mind. We waited for this one because he was so depressed by the other version. You need to buy it now. I didn't get anything from this review. Please excuse his wild hair, the groomers in our area have been closed due to the virus. There is a It is a soft lightweight cushion.
👤I love this for my baby girl who just got shirred. I used to use a soft cone and donut with my dogs when they had surgeries, but they were still miserable. I was looking on Amazon. She is very long, so I ordered the XL. It works perfectly. She is more comfortable in a cone than a donut. It's like a pillow around her neck. It's easy for her to eat and drink with it on because it moves with her body.
👤The 7 month old Cavalier was neutered two days ago. The calm cone was a disaster the first day we tried it. He couldn't lift his head because it was heavy. I went to the vet and got a plastic cone. That worked better but not great. He wouldn't move or walk in it. The Aarf cone was delivered this morning. Popped it on him. He is a happy camper. The large is the best for his size. I knew he would be able to reach the site because the diameter of the cone wasn't wide enough for his size. He is sleeping and looks comfortable.

👤An amazing product. He was miserable in that plastic cone after my fur- baby was fixed. He couldn't eat or drink with it on and would drag it all over the ground when I brought him out to the bathroom. When I was looking for an alternative to that stupid thing, I ran across this gem. I was skeptical when I first bought it, but I was happy when I put it on him. It is the same thickness and stretch as a baby's onsie. It's not a problem to wear it in July. There are five snaps. The top 2 allow for a snug fit, the bottom 2 allow for a looser fit, and the middle snap allows for the snaps to be pulled up the belly towards the head so they won't get in the way when they pee. My guy is a licker and can't get to his boy to mess with the stitches so they stay dry. Not buying 2 is my only regret.
👤Excellent! The snaps are the selling point for this brand. My teen will let her back in his bed at night because she is happy as a clam.
👤I wanted to wear them. They are a better alternative to the cone of shame for my yorkies. The snaps are pulling the fabric a week after the girls were snoozing. Really disappointing. The girls are falling apart at the snaps after I bought them one for them. I dried them and washed them.
👤I bought this for my dog. She was more comfortable with this on than she was with the post op shield. If it gets dirty, I recommend buying more than one. Make sure the snaps are fastened to the set so that the onesie is snuggest. She was able to escape when I left the snaps on the looser setting.
👤Had I not been around, the situation could have been much worse. The onesie was easy to use for the first 6 days, then the stitches became itchy. I passed her in her crate in the morning, but 5 minutes later she removed her tail from the onesie, even though all snaps were in use, and she was going. Thankfully, she did not harm her stitches and only removed the scab. The cone will have to stay on an extra day because she has a new scab. The onesie does not suit long neck dogs like my poodle. It's easy for them to reach their stomach stitches. The inflatable collar is perfect for short nose dogs and easily popped by long neck dogs, as pointed out by my vet. This information should be on the listing.
👤This is amazing. Our golden dog had eye surgery. We had to protect the surgical sites to make sure they were not touched during the next 14 days. The Belly Guard recovery suit is the most comfortable and easy solution. I would have liked to have had this with all the other dogs. It pulls up under for potty breaks. It kept all his hair inside. I washed suit #1 and put it in the dryer with a towel so it would dry and it came out perfect. He did not mind wearing it. We used a soft collar blow up to protect his eyes. This surgical suit is very good. The knot is made of a heavy knit material and the snaps are of good quality. Highly recommended! He is 80# and has a back that is 28” so I ordered the correct size for him. I used a mirror under him when he was wearing the suit because there was a peek-a-boo opening. It's very easy to put on and off.
It was comfortable. A dog recovery collar is an alternative to a dog cone. Their collar works like a barrier around your dog's neck that would prevent them from scratching and biting. With this collar on, your pet won't be able to break stitches or introduce an lnfеtiоn into the wund, so won't be able to reach the lnjuriеs in the leg, torso, or back area. The inflatable collar will help you recover your pet faster. The blow up dog cone collar is designed to be comfortable for the dog. The inflatable dog collar will allow your dog to play, eat, drink, and sleep during the hеаling period. The unit is small so your pet can fit into smaller spaces. The fabric on the cover is soft and doesn't rub the dog's skin. There are different sizes. They have the right inflatable dog collar for every breed, from a small dog to a giant Great Danes. If you need a small dog cone collar soft to facilitate your Spitz hеаling, a cat donut collar to help your feline get well after the surgery faster, or a dog cone for large dogs, PRIMENS has a great assortment of sizes. It's high adjustability. It doesn't mean that your pet will end up with a flimsy dog recovery collar if you don't fit standard sizes. Their inflatable collar has straps that allow for simple and fast regulations to ensure a perfect neck fit. You can attach a regular collar to your pet so that you don't have to give up walks when the animal is recovering. This dog neck donut is easy to use. You put a cover on, inflate the collar, and then you go. If the collar gets dirty, you can either wipe it with a damp cloth or hand wash it. The soft dog cone can be deflated and stored without taking up a lot of space. The Primens inflating collar is a must have for your dog.
👤This collar was perfect for our golden retriever who just got neutered. I don't think she minded it at all, it definitely kept her from licking. She slept well in it and was not acting like it bothered her or was itchy. It was easy to blow it up, the air stayed in it, and the microfiber cover was not necessarily the lightest. It wasn't rough or itchy. I'm very happy with this product and hope I never have to use it again.
👤My previous review was a one. It took me a while to realize that the first soft cone had an air leak. I had to do it again every day. I thought it might be a bad seal at the inflation nozzle. When I was a kid, I found punctures in my bicycle tire tubes. This product works well as well. Remove the air bladder from the cover. Remove the air bladder. If you want to hold at least a section of the air bladder at a time, push it underwater in a large bowl. The bladder should beROTTE under water until you check the entire bladder, including the inflation nozzle. There is a stream of air bubbles coming up from the leak location if there is an air leak. It was a manufacturing problem. I requested a second soft cone after returning the first one. I did the leak test when I got the second one. Imagine my anger when I found a leak in the second soft cone air bladder. The manufacturing defect looked like a small burn hole. The first review I read had a 1-star rating. I knew the soft cone worked for my dog since it worked for about a week before the leak got too bad. I wanted a soft cone that didn't leak. I returned the second soft cone for a refund. I thought, why not try again? The third time was the charm for me. I immediately checked for an air bladder leak. Finally. I recommend this product. There is a word of caution about use. I didn't inflate the bladder enough and my dog could still reach the spot on her hind leg. I secured it with a Velcro strip after inflating it. My dog was able to get out of it in less than a day. I fastened her collar to the soft cone by threading one of her collars through the strips on the inner part of the soft cone. It worked for a week until my first soft cone got too soft. I remember the leak detection method from my childhood and finally patience and persistence won out. The attached pictures show the obvious leak in the second air bladder and the soft cone on my dog. It's an improvement over the cone. It's the same thing. It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing Is that true? I inflated my first collar. It works great when inflated. I had to blow it up every day because of the small air leak. The leak became a big leak and wouldn't stay inflated. I got a new one after returning the first one. The leak in this air bladder is obvious in the picture above. I can't recommend this product after two bad bladders. Great idea.
Protect yourself and your pets. Pets can bite and lick wounds after an operation. It provides a good protection while taking a bath, trimming the nails, and general body care. The Elizabethan collar is perfect for small breed pets, such as kittens, Kitties, Teacup cats, rabbits and so on. Their supplier has a size. If your pet's measurement is close to the maximum, please order the next size up, as they have different opinions about the size. A pair of snaps are included in the accessory snap clasp. The pet cone is easy to lay on and off, and can be adjusted to fit your pet. It's more stable because of double snaps. If you don't like the product, please let them know and they'll give you a refund. They are dedicated to your satisfaction.
👤I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. I got it for my cat. The cat's fur is growing again, but it licks the cone all the time. You don't understand how that rasp-rasp-rasp sound can cut through the quiet, slither down into your brain, and start frightening you. Rasp-rasp. Not trying to bend backwards like he was doing. Just. licking The cone. You can't fix a leaking faucet and you can't help but hear it. Rasp-rasp. GAAAAAH.. It's sturdy, easy tofasten, and he hasn't licked a hole through it yet, so it's held up well.
👤My cat was able to remove it. Video uploaded. Had to return it. The smallest size was too big for my cat to use, and there are preset sizes that you can't use. An improvement would be to have a way to secure the bottom of the cone to my cat's collar, which he is unable to remove on his own, or offer more sizes that you can adjust the cone to.
👤I used this on my Mean Kitty, who had a very bad case of ear mites. I found a good product that treated his ear mite issue. The cone helped keep him from scratching his face and the area on his neck that was open wounds from too much scratching. I keep this on hand just in case. I put it in the laundry with bleach and put it in the dishwasher. Didn't lose its blue color. I would hold it up and the cat would come up to me and put his head into it. That was quite surprising.
👤I have a 7 month old Yorkie. He was prevented from licking his wound. I tried a lot of things but nothing worked and I was at my wits end. I bought this product. 1. It's easy to put on 2. It's easy to adjust the size of your pet with the snaps. There is a padding around the base. Your pet can see it. Your pet can eat with it. Your pet can drink with it. Your pet can sleep on 8. I recommend this product because it keeps your pet away from the wound.
👤I like the idea of a soft collar, but it folds! As the length of the cone shortens, you don't want your pet to reach whatever it is. It was cheap and not worth the hassle of shipping it back. I wouldn't recommend it. You can learn from my mistake and save money.
👤The traditional hard plastic cone is better. The soft fabric at the neck allows you to turn it down so that his face isn't squeezed against the plastic. The cloth was bent back towards the shoulders and the pictures were worn in the traditional way.
👤The alien kitty was unhappy and could only walk backwards while wearing an e-collar. She went to the emergency vet Friday night because of a bad neck. She had to have the collar on for 2 weeks. She hated the one they gave her because it wasn't fashionable for the little diva. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this one. The recommendation to push the collar down towards the shoulders was made by one reviewer for this collar, it works well with this type of collar. My cat is not really happy because she's still broken but she can move around a lot better with the e-collar. She can't remove it herself because it snaps in place. I would recommend them to others.
Dog Neuk Donut is designed to prevent dogs from biting, licking, or scratching injured area, as well as other post surgical wounds. Your dog will have a smooth recovery and great comfort with the inflatable dog collar. The dog collar can also be used during veterinary examination and treatment. Refer to the 4th image to make sure your pet won't be able to reach their injured area before buying. Please review the 2nd and 3rd images to make sure they are accurate. Extra small or medium is the size they have. The last 4 notes should be considered before ordering. There is a new word for it. The dog neck donut is a soft, plush, lightweight alternative to the big hard plastic cone. Unlike the traditional e-cone, with their dog e-collar, no more bumping into wall, furniture or their legs. Without blocking peripheral vision, inflatable dog collar makes recovery easier. The inner air ring and outer soft fleece cover will allow your dog to wear it comfortably. The dog inflatable recovery collar protects the head, neck, and forelimb. It may not be suitable for dogs with long snouts, long legs, long tails, or long bodies where they can still reach wounds such as on the belly or tail. Measure your dog's neck and collar size with soft tape to make sure it's accurate. If you are going to have surgery or hurt, you should buy a wound care kit. Working with your dog to get him used to it. Some dogs may feel uncomfortable if they are using an inflatable dog collar for the first time. They might try to kick it off with their legs. Before using, they recommend putting on socks or clipping the pet's nails. When training your dog to wear one, be patient and give plenty of encouragement.
👤Is my corgi neutered tomorrow? It's a good thing. I bought her a cute little donut to wear instead of the plastic cone. I tried it on her and it was great, she looks cute as a button and I think it will be comfortable for her.
👤I needed to keep my dog away from an infectious disease that he kept licking, so I used a soft cloth on top of the beach balls to make them feel softer. It did the job. I gave it a 5 star rating, but don't be fooled, you're not getting something expensive or chew proof. The dog killed the donut after a few days. It kept him away from licking the wound. It did what it was supposed to.
👤While wearing an inflatable donut, Rocco was as happy as could be.
👤The golden doodle has been fixed. She was not happy with the cone from the vet. This was a big change.
👤It lost air and never stayed inflated. My dogs were able to bite through the Velcro when it didn't stick. Save money.
👤It worked well. She wouldn't pull the stapler.
👤Within an hour, this deflates to ineffectiveness.
👤Had to return smaller than anticipated.
Recovery cone is a great way to prevent your cat from licking or biting wounds. It will protect your cat's health and promote the recovery of the wound. The cat protective collar can be used for beautyPruning. For puppies and kittens. It is adjusted. Cat recovery collar can be adjusted at any time. It is not easy to remove the cat cone. Small can still bite the wound if the recovery collar size is too large. The recovery cone should be longer. Soft cat cone made of cotton is comfortable to wear. It doesn't hurt the cat's skin or interfere with the pet's vision, they can eat, drink, and play. Dogs can use the soft recovery cone as a pillow when they are tired. When not in use, the soft cat cone collar can be folded to store. If there are small stains, they can be washed with warm water and dry. Refer to the size chart before purchasing. The fitted protective cone is more comfortable for puppies and cats.
👤This product is easy to use. It was more flexible than I was expecting. My cat was still able to bend the cone and continue biting her fur off. It is not a good product for a flexible cat who is determined to continue chewing fur and skin.
👤Our cat had surgery and she couldn't get comfortable with the hard plastic cone, even if we propped her up with pillows, she would keep getting up to try to find a place to sleep. She went into depression after having the plastic cone. We got her this and it worked out well. She knocked into the wall with it on, not like the plastic hit her. She was more comfortable when she slept. This is a smart buy. This one was a medium and it fit well. I had to tighten it around her neck. It was snug around her neck because the ends did not line up perfectly. The cone was secured even though it was not flat against each other. It did get dirty over time but it was very easy to clean. It would come out brand new if we washed it in a gentle sanitize wash and put it in a delicate setting dryer. I didn't think of this until it was too late, it would have been nice to have an extra one. You don't have to worry if you put the extra on when one is washing. I only bought one because I didn't realize that 2 might have been better and I had to watch her for 2 hours when it was washed to make sure she wasn't scratching her stitches.
👤I was worried that my baby would not like having a cone placed on her during her recovery from surgery. This is her favorite of the three different cones I bought for her. She didn't mind that I put it on her. The cone is very soft and comfortable to wear and sleep in. My cat is 8 pounds and I bought this in a size M. I wish I had ordered a smaller size because it was hard for her to walk in because of how big it was. The only complaint I have is that the velcro area is heavier than the rest of the cone and it falls around her chin area, making it hard for her to lay down. I think that it makes sense that she would be grumpy because the velcro is making it hard for her to lay down or sit comfortably. One of the main reasons I love this cone is that you can place it on a flat surface. It makes it impossible for a cat to lick her incision, but it is more comfortable and doesn't cause depression in cats.
👤My dog has ovarian cancer so she tends to get dehydrated. The vets told me that she would get a cone on her. The plastic one looked uncomfortable when she lied down. Here is her new cone. She doesn't want to take it off. It's a score.
Each set has 5 different sizes. It's perfect for dogs of different ages and sizes. Pick your needs and meet them. If you have more than one dog, their dog recovery collar is the best choice. They can be used for small and medium dogs. A multi-functional pet cone collar is a great tool for wound healing after surgery. It ends self-Inflicted Wound Aggravation. They should protect themselves from dog bites while in beauty treatments or showers. It's widely used for home, pet store, pet hospital, pet training and vet. Enough depth prevents the pet from licking itself. The neck circumference can be adjusted. It is convenient for your pets. The cat soft cone does not affect your pet's ability to eat, drink, sleep and play. It's convenient to adjust and wear the professional Velcro closures. The soft pet cone design with the plastic snap closure can keep the collar secure in place and prevent it from falling off.
👤The little guy hates it, but he can't get it off. It took him a while to get used to being a cone head. Sometimes he catches walls. It is pathetically entertaining to watch him fight. He tried to eat it when I took it out of the package. He didn't succeed.
👤The best cone for dogs. It's much more comfortable. It does not stick out 1 foot, it is a very strong and soft closure. My most recent purchase was from Amazon. I will show these to her at her appointment. These rocks are created by an Amazon vendor. The seller should always sell these to my vets. I have a 70lb mix of Pit Bull/Shephard/Rodesian Ridgeback and it makes her less anxious when wearing this because she can see around her.
👤My dog is chewing on her feet and I have to be the bad guy. My other dog is a big brother to me. It's funny. Great product.
👤I was not sure how these would be. I was very impressed. Sometimes putting a cone on a dog is easier than using a muzzle, and I own a groom shop that does that. These are very strong and easy to put on. We have been using them for a long time and have not had any issues with them.
👤You don't have to worry if it will fit because it's all included. My dog is still able to eat from his bowl despite its gentle around his neck.
👤I have two dogs, a chihuahua mix and a lab mix, and I was able to find one that fit each of them perfectly, thanks to the variety of sizes this set comes with. My chihuahua mix chews on her behind a lot and to prevent her from chewing on it at night when we can't watch her, we've been using a cone. That has been helping a lot. Since she can't lick the medication off, her cuts and infections have been clearing up. I don't have to worry if they are wearing a collar that is in the way because I don't have to keep a collar on them. I need help with holding them still and attaching a cone around their neck. I didn't think these would work because I thought they would be able to wiggle out, but even after watching them mess with it, I didn't think they would work. They are not able to get out of them. My dog had to have surgery and she couldn't chew on her stitches. Great cones. They're easy to clean.
👤I can't get the cone to close. Since this is a multi-pack, you would think the largest size should fit a 18 1/2” neck.
👤I like that this comes in multiple different sizes so that no matter what my dog is, I have one that fits. I don't think this is for 24 hours because after the third day, the cone had gotten into my dog's neck and she was bleeding. It was loose enough that I could put my fingers under her, but sleeping in the cone was not a good idea. I have stairs in my house and my Pitbull kept dragging her face down so the cone would hit every step as well as doors and she would flip her food bowl and everything else in front of her. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but I wouldn't recommend it. I only used for short spurts during the day when she was scratching. I kept it off because I didn't want to irritate the wound on her neck.
The best size for the neck is 14 and the depth is 9. It's ideal for injuries and post surgery. Cats and dogs can work well together. The recovery collar is light in weight, soft and comfortable, but may not cover all of the pet's body part. The owner should watch in the beginning as the pet may chew. The owner can tighten or loosen as necessary. Pets can eat, sleep, and drink.
👤This is my dog. I thought it might be too big. This won't fit around her neck. I'm sick of these issues on Amazon. If it fit, it would be a great product. It might be a good idea to give it away to someone who needs it.
👤This has made my life so much easier, my dog is so much more comfortable, and she looks adorable, even though it is a bummer for the dog to have to be in a collar. She wears a collar for days to weeks due to her skin allergy. She can't pick up a toy in her mouth or eat on her own with the hard plastic e-collar. She can pick up toys and play more easily because she can't be hand-fed twice a day, and she has a bit more of a life because she can't be hand-fed twice a day. She is a toy poodle with a medium size. Small wouldn't be long enough to stop her from chewing and scratching. Measure the length from your dog's neck to the tip of their about and order accordingly. She uses the collar to prevent scratching her face, and the cone works perfectly. I think it is effective in preventing her from chewing her paws, but that is not the primary focus. I don't pay much attention to the fact that she can't get around the collar in a way to get to her paws. The pink collar by the same company that looks like a tulip is not as long from collar to edge as the yellow one, and is therefore not as effective. This one gives about 1/2”-1” more length, and that is really important. I returned the pink one because of this.
👤I was skeptical when I read the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. This cone of shame should help you determine if it is right for your pupper. The collar is bendable and folds over pretty easily. I went a size up with the reviews and it was a little big, but my 7lb shih Tzu is tiny. A small would have worked. My little one has not been able to get it off yet. The strength of the two big pieces allowed her to sleep in it. If she were larger, stronger, and more aggressive in her attempts to get it off, I would switch to her hard cone at night. I picked the flower because I didn't want her to get her paws around to touch my face. She just had eye removal surgery and there is no way she can get around it. The weight was not undersold in the reviews. My pupper has been laying around a lot, so this is better than the hard plastic cone. I am so happy that she is sleeping on these little quilted pillows. She does step on it when she tries to walk, but I take it off when she needs to go to the bathroom. She doesn't trip herself. It is flipping cute, my little sunflower! She makes her so stinking adorable because she doesn't care about the look. If your situation is the same as mine, I would recommend it. It might not work if you have a dog that is chewier or aggressive in trying to remove their cone of shame, but for my little one, it has been perfect. I am not worried about it coming apart because I am washing it tomorrow. It is well made and appears to be durable, and hopefully the blood stains will come out, fingers crossed. I was so thankful that it arrived the next day, I needed something quick when she came home, and I was so impressed that it arrived the next day. I have washed this twice and it comes out of the water, I tumble dry on low until it is mostly dry, and it holds its shape well. This cone of shame is great quality and I am very happy with it.
