2002 has been a banner year for the dogs at Walltop Kennels with a total of 12 titles achieved in competition!
Mutz von Unterweiden achieved his AKC CD (Companion Dog Title), CDX (Companion Dog excellent Title), Schutzhund BH (Obedience and Temperament Test, and Schutzhund AD (12.5 mile Endurance Test).
Cindy Hansford CDX BH AD OFA Good achieved her CDX.
Hondo VH Liedo Kassel CDX BH AD OFA Good achieved his CDX.
Heavy V."T Heukske IPO3 FH2 BH CDX TDX "a" normal achieved his BH, CDX, TDX (AKC Tracking Dog Excellent) and did a Schutzhund FH (Advanced Tracking Test).
Mindy vom Waldenhaus achieved her CD and BH.
In addition to these titles the dogs recieved multiple first place finished and a High in Trial.
Look for Jane and several of her dogs in AKC Obedience, Tracking and Schutzhund competition in 2003. Agility has been added to the training and competition schedule also.

Walltop Kennels Inc. has a spacious indoor cat and dog boarding kennel consisting of roomy indoor runs, cages and a large outside exercise ares in a quiet counry setting near Raleigh, North Carolina in Four Oaks. Our goal is to provide the best boarding experience possible for your pet.

Training Facility

Our 16 acre training area is fully fenced with lights that cover over an acre for night training. We also have access to over 100 acres for tracking within 1 mile.
We are all breed(and mixed) friendly and believe that handlers and their dogs should be trained with positive motivation.

Introduction to Agility Classes start May 8. We now have a complete Agility course fully fenced with all the obstacles. Advanced handlers and dog can come for open training on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. See the Dog Training and Competitiion page for the schedule.

In-kennel obedience training and private classes are available to fit the owners schedule.

German Shepherds
We breed, train and compete with our German Shepherds. All puppies are AKC registered and come with a written guarantee of good health and hips. Puppies are tattooed, vaccinated, dewormed and temperament tested. See our German Shepherd puppies page for new arrivals or call for information (919)963 4000.
About our manager, Jane Wall
Our manager, Jane Wall, a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Animal Science, lives on the premises. She has 13 years experience as a veterinary technician and 21 years experience training and breeding dogs. Jane is a member of United Schuthund Clubs of America(USA), Jacksonville Schutzhund Club,the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA), German Shepherd Dog club of Greater Raleigh, the German Shepherd Dog Club of America-Working Dog Association (GSDCA-WDA) and a signer of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America's Breeders' Code of Ethics.
