Genetics Books for Breeders
Breeding is an art as well as a science. Breeders need to educate themselves as much as possible about their dogs, their breed and the dogs in the pedigrees of their dog. While science does not have all the answers, many health problems are traceable thru genetics and testing. A good breeder does as much research and testing as possible and then makes breeding decisions based on science and the breeder's overall knowledge of the breed and the health and abilities of the dogs to be bred.
